Private Coaching (via Zoom)
I know how confusing and terrifying it is to doubt things you were once sure of. How hard it is when “truths” that were supposed to set you free now feel more like cages others expect you to live in.
How painful it is when your life once seemed good (or at least acceptable) but now seems unbearable. How hard it is to wonder whether it’s possible to have the life you really want.
I was devastated when I realized, at age 53, that I couldn’t continue my career as a pastor. I left without knowing what I’d do instead, where I’d live, or how I’d survive financially. After a long, hard journey, I found a new career and created a better life.
Now I help others on similar journeys. Specifically, I coach people who are:
Questioning or rejecting old beliefs and exploring new ones
Navigating major life transitions and feeling lost or overwhelmed
Deciding whether to leave careers, relationships, or faith communities
Facing criticism or estrangement from people who disapprove of their choices
Are you questioning old beliefs, wondering whether or how to make a major change, or seeking support as you deal with other challenges? I’d be happy to talk with you and help you figure out your next steps.
What to expect if you choose me as your coach
I’ll help you:
🎯 Clarify what you truly want (as opposed to what you think you SHOULD want)
🎯 Move from feeling hopeless and powerless to making positive changes in your life
🎯 Rely on your inner compass instead of other people’s directions for guidance
You’ll receive coaching that is:
✨ Gentle and compassionate - I won’t judge or “fix” you; I’ll listen and support you
✨ Practical - I’ll help you take concrete actions and overcome specific challenges
✨ Respectful - I’ll honor your beliefs and choices and won’t tell you what to do
✨ Authentic - I won’t claim that my life is perfect now or yours will be if I coach you
"Integrity is choosing courage over comfort; choosing what is right over what is fun, fast, or easy; and choosing to practice our values rather than simply professing them."
