Laury, I love you so much and am so proud of your unfiltered honesty and obvious growth into someone who has become so much more self-loving and self-accepting. This was a wonderful, brave, beautiful example of how love wins and spirituality involves inclusion, expansiveness, and the patient act of forgiving each other and ourselves for trying to be right and perfect, instead of being real and on a journey of transformation! Sending hugs and appreciation your way! (From Cherry, Laury’s oldest sister, by the way…if this only goes to the host!)
Sister, thank you for your compassion and kindness and for your concise, (more concise than mine!) message after my explosion of truth talking to Wendi Gordon
Your message was the first thing I saw in response to the "live," and it felt like your arms wrapped around me after the expected hit of regret that followed my truth telling.
You've been doing this for me since I was literally a child, embracing all of who I am and seeing the good in me. I love you so much.
She does! Every time one of my stories pops up in her inbox, she absorbs it, processes and internalizes it, and sprinkles love dust all over it. And then reminds me that my work has value. I texted her this morning and told her how much it meant to me, what she said. She's very very kind (I have a couple more like that too)

I need a sister like Cherry! Not that I don’t have wonderful sisters, but Cherry takes sisterly love and support to a whole new level!

Normal is a setting on a dryer not a description on life. You reminded me.
Happy to remind you (and myself) of that!
Definitely not a dryer and I've never felt normal. Thank you for saying that.
