Coaches and Gurus Who Claim To Know and Teach The Right Answers Are Dangerous

Seek support from people who help you find and trust your own answers - and understand that their answers aren't right for everyone

And if your questions are spiritual, it’s even more important to seek support from people who don’t claim to know and teach the right answers. As I share in the video, I fired my therapist when she prayed with me and asked God to forgive my “sin” of doubting Him.

That experience is one reason I’m so passionate about creating safe spaces for honest conversations about spiritual doubts. Another is that I know how confusing and lonely it can be to reject religious beliefs because I’ve done it. And how hard it is to explain or even discuss that decision with family members and friends who still accept those beliefs as absolute truths that it is wrong to question.

So if you could use some nonjudgmental support as you figure out what you believe and don’t believe and why, I encourage you to check out my spiritual support group. It could provide the support you need to change your beliefs and life!
