Spiritual Support for Weary Souls
A special "Changing Lives" Zoom group starting this Sunday, January 12
Are you devastated by recent events and terrified about what may happen soon? Grieving multiple losses and feeling overwhelmed? Questioning your spiritual beliefs or being harmed by other people who want you to live in accordance with theirs?
Do you need a safe and inclusive space to share your struggles, connect with kindred spirits, and discover new ways to nourish your soul?
If so, this “Spiritual Support for Weary Souls” Zoom group is for you! For six weeks, from 1/12 - 2/16/25, we’ll meet on Sundays from 7-8:30 pm CST.
Session 1 (1/12): Introductions, group guidelines, and sharing what wearies and/or sustains your soul now
Session 2 (1/19): Spiritual Journaling. You’ll learn one method to access Divine Wisdom and Love, see a sample journal entry, and have the opportunity to try this spiritual practice.
Session 3 (1/26): Spiritual Places. You’ll learn where others go to renew their spirits and soothe their souls and share where you go (or would if you could). Spiritual experiences can happen anywhere!
Session 4 (2/2): Spiritual Things. You’ll learn about the things (books, photos, music, candles, tattoos, tarot cards, etc) that have spiritual significance for others and why and talk about yours. Ideally, this will be a show and tell night!
Session 5 (2/9): Spiritual People. Who are your spiritual role models and why? After each person shares theirs, we’ll look at some other possible sources of encouragement and inspiration.
Session 6 (2/16): Spiritual Lessons. Each group member will share what they’ve learned and how they plan to use it to sustain and strengthen them on their journey. We’ll conclude by visualizing and describing our spiritual tool kits and the resources and practices in them.
Note: I’m sending “Changing Lives” on Wednesday instead of Friday this week because the group starts Sunday and there are only four spots left.
Register now to get one of those spots! And please restack this post and/or share it elsewhere to help others find the group before it’s too late.
