I am seeking understanding rather than condemnation. I choose compassion over cruelty, love over fear. Change begins here, within us, and it grows when we live it out loud. Hatred and unkindness reveal more about us than how we respond.
Absolutely! Choosing love over fear and seeking understanding instead of condemnation is hard but necessary for both individual and collective healing and transformation.
That was really well written and timely, Wendi. I'm not so much into loving the enemy, but just trying to understand where they're coming from is a big challenge for me. I wish you well in your current and future endeavors here on Substack. Blue
Thank you, Blue. I wish you well, too and enjoyed our Substack Live. And yes, loving enemies - or even understanding them - is hard for me, too, especially when they continue to harm people and show no remorse. I also think loving anyone includes holding them accountable for their actions.
I couldn’t agree more Wendi. And just to say, I rarely listen to yours or anyone posts that are that long. I just don’t have enough time in the day to devote to both writing my posts, notes and reading and commenting on others’ post. Your interview did give my subscriptions an upward job, so thank you again. Blue💙

I understand. I rarely watch long videos either, though I often skim the transcripts instead.
Aha! I didn’t know you could skim transcripts. I’ll try that next time. Blue
It may not be possible to skim transcripts on a phone. I see the option to view transcript on my laptop but not my iPhone.
