I feel like I am experiencing a new beginning. The light is just beginning to peek over the horizon.
After 7 months of having one or both of my parents in our home and my husband and I being their primary caregivers through several medical issues, I was able to move my mom to a memory care facility and we just moved my Dad into a house close to her and we are getting our home back.
Elizabeth, I am glad you are experiencing a new beginning, and thank you for sharing that! I can only imagine how exhausting it must have been to be primary caregivers for and have one or both of your parents living with you (not to mention the lack of privacy). My dad, who died of Parkinson's last year, stayed with us for only a few days while his wife got a much needed break. I was on edge the entire time, terrified he would fall or have some other medical problem that we couldn't handle.
Beautiful, Wendi. 🌅
Thanks, Rebecca.

It was difficult and it is good that we are done with that. But I am sure I will never regret the time that I was able to spend with them!
