After every darkness, there is light. Believing it is the hard part. As I look back on my life of almost 75 years, I can see that the best lessons I learned and the most strength I found came after darkness. There is joy to be found in the light and new experiences are waiting.

Yes, it is sometimes very hard to find the light when "darkness" is at first evident. I like to think of the tiny seed laying dormant in the cold winter soil.I had to see a cardiologist because they saw a slower heart beat on part of my heart in an EKG. The cardiologist was very smart. He had me take two other tests. I wore a heart monitor for seven days, and he had me take an echocardiogram. during an echocardiogram they see all the chambers your heart beating in real time. Itt is much like a technician using a special instrument much like when the pregnant mother seeing her baby in utero on the monitor. I was scared to death that something was really wrong with my heart. However, I saw the cardiologist and he had read the results on these two tests. He concluded that I had nothing seriously wrong with my heart, "No Malformations" with my heart. Therefore he "cleared" me to have surgery to replace my left hip on March 27th. So that is now "light" for me to have the surgery.

Wendi, I don't know what might be available as far as housing goes for you because I am not in your state. As part of your support team are there people (senators, representatives, and/or other people whom are actively trying to make change for more housing in your state). Sometimes for working for a Landlord ( I have heard of this)in an apartment rental office, the landlord will give you a discount in rent. I too, have great faith in your light, and in your husband's light. This is most certainly a "dark" time for you. I most definitely think your writing might lead to people, places, and things with may provide answers for you. I believe in you and your light. If it means shaking up some "church or political communities" in your advocacy for yourself, than let it happen. If I might help by being a reference let me know. I am there for you.
