Oh, my gosh, this was fun. It lifted my spirits knowing about all the little happy things in life that you're finding. Made me want to look around a bit and see what's wonderful about my life. Your enthusiasm rubbed off on me, like your student's enthusiasm for a beach ball break. Thanks!

What a great series of suggestions! I had recently thought about Shakespeare's "Much to do About Nothing". I had seen it a long time ago, and now will see it again. I believe Amazon Prime has "Mama Mia" ( Think a series of two to three movies). It makes me feel light hearted! I am getting ready to have my right hip surgery on Monday, so that may be a great suggestion to hear Mama Mia in the back ground, while I wash 4 loads of laundry. Jazz of all sorts is also great of me. I like Amad Jamal's work, Martin Shorter and the Weather Report, Earnestine Anderson (from Seattle), and Nora Jones, to name just a few. ( I guess Nora Jones is more in the popular genre. I really like her. I like your picture of the owl. I have an idea of a painting to paint of some eagles after I get some healing from physical therapy. I will keep you posted. And I must say the Barbie Movie is at the top of my list as far as Gender Humor, as well as Gender Seriousness.

Correction on my last writing. It is Wayne Shorter, NOT( Martin Shorter), he was a Jazz Artist with the Group: Weather Report. Before that he was in with Miles Davis's group for a while. And he ended up also working with classical music artists at times. He recently passed away about a year ago. I like his work.
