When facing changes I didn't plan on I put myself on autopilot, i.e. I choose kindness, make sure I have the basics, and seek support from friends or authors I admire. And like Wendi seek to live in the present, so with friends I meditate or share my dreams or create a drawing, a doodle really something simple I know I can do. Thanks Wendi for asking!

i have lots on my shelves so I pick one. Sometimes it's Mark Nepo, sometimes Joyce Rupp, Andrew Harvey, Julian of Norwich, and Nan Merrill. Spirituality books mostly. But believe it or not my book of a 1000 famous quotes. I read paragraph or two or maybe a whole chapter and then I let them percolate in the back of my mind while I go about daily tasks.

Thanks for naming the authors you like. The only one I’m familiar with is Julian of Norwich, so I’ll have to check out the others. I also love inspirational quotes and often find them online.
